Headdress- Base of craft foam covered in styrene and spray-painted gold. Added gold chains and green crystal beads. Painted extra gold detailing on beads.
Necklace: Base of craft foam covered in styrene. Colored with gold Rub’n Buff Snaps added to back . Added matching green crystal beads.
Corset: Altered a purchased corset pattern. Used synthetic silk, vinyl, and medium stabilizer. Gold Grommets added to the back. Laces up with brown suede cording.
Skirt: Self designed pattern. Red cotton/polyester blend material for “sash.” Brown microsuede (“wrong side” used as “right side”) for A-line skirt. Invisible side zipper.
Belt- Base is brown vinyl. Added gold grommets and painted buckle. Large adornment made from paper clay.
Gloves: Altered a purchased glove pattern. Stretch silk material used.
Leg Armor: Craft foam base covered in Worbla. Smoothed with wood-filler and sanded. Colored with gold Rub’n Buff and Acrylic paint.
Upper Armband: Craft foam base covered in Worbla. Smoothed with paperclay and sanded. Colored with gold Rub’n Buff and spray paint.
Bracer: Base of craft foam covered in styrene and colored with gold Rub’n Buff. Laces up with brown suede cording.
Shield: Foam core board and EVA foam base. Covered in paperclay and sanded down. Colored with both spray paint and acrylic paints. Arm Fastenings created with vinyl, belt buckle, bra underwire, and decorative nails. Attachments supported by super glue and camouflaged screws.
Spear: Base created from wooden dowel, craft foam, EVA foam, balsa Wood, and hot glue. Soldering iron used to carve details near the point. Covered entire structure with paperclay and sanded down. Painted with enamel paints.
Boots: Started with old knee-high boots and chopped them down to proper size. Covered in brown and gold fabrics using both hot glue and thread.
