Personal Thoughts:

This costume is my baby~
So once upon a time, Game Informer released the first promo image (http://www.petrolad.com/assets/work/11/ps_image729x411_southparkstickoftruth_gameinformer_image_0.jpg) for South Park’s Stick of Truth. Since Kenny’s my favorite, my eye tends to seek him out first. Lo and behold, I see that he’s a princess for some reason in this game and I KNEW I was going to make this outfit. I know that changes have happened since that first image was released and that his outfit is quite different in the show/game, but the original orange version just stuck with me and was I was determined to make it. I had originally planned to debut this costume at New York Comic Con 2013, but was dropped due to time constraints. After that, the costume was put on the backburner. I still wanted to make it, but was not sure when or where I would wear it. THEN South Park comes out with the Black Friday trilogy. I bought the fabric and materials the very next day after ‘Black Friday’ aired. For my point of reference, I looked at Princess Zelda, because it’s VERY OBVIOUS that’s where the inspiration came from in Kenny’s princess design. I referenced the Twilight Princess version in particular as that one’s my favorite and I LOVED aesthetic of the game in general. Ironically, I had considered cosplaying as Zelda in the past before, but it was one of those passing thoughts. LOL well I guess I wound up sort of cosplaying her anyway haha.
