Construction Details:

The colored suits were bought off eBay. The black parts are soft black knit fabrics. The top parts just slip right over our heads and rest on our shoulders (mine is different in that it has a collar piece that velcroes in the back). The belts are silver fabric that both my sister and I already happened to have because we bought them for a different cosplay and never ended up using it. The belt buckles are made from wood and paper clay and were spray-painted gold; I broke one of the first frames and set of cross bones I made so I had to re-make those really quickly. The boots tops are a soft white knit fabric that was simply sewn into a large tube that we can tuck into our boots and then fold over the top. I'd like to re-make some of this when I have more time and am not rushing to finish everything quickly for a con.

Personal Thoughts:

I made both my sister and I's parts for our cosplays less than two weeks before the con (in addition to the other things I was working on) in a kind of a spur-of-the-moment decision. I'm so happy I finished them on time, haha.
