Construction Details:

The coat is a twill that was sewn into the full coat and then distressed with a serrated knife, scissors and a wire brush. It was then painted with two coats of Jacquard textile paint in neon green and three coats of Jones Tones Glow Paint in Lime. It doesn't glow too well unless you hit is with a black light but then it's really bright.

rnThe pants were a pre-owned pair of corduroy that were dyed with Jacquard Dye-Na-Flow in Brown.

Personal Thoughts:

I have been slowly accumulating the materials for this outfit for a few years and finally got off my lazy butt to make it. I still really love Hetalia and I've missed cosplay America more than I realized. Plus there are ENDLESS amounts of possibilities for photo locations during the Halloween season that are just too much fun to pass up.
