Construction Details:

For the outfit, a basic sailor top pattern was slightly modified to make the top. The skirt is a basic A-line skirt pattern and slightly altered to add simple belt loops for the back bow to be clipped to.

All the bows were made by hand. The back bow was made of three separate ribbons and brought together to make a large one. The back bow and the hair bows had alligator clips attached to them.

The hat was made from a witch hat making tutorial and modified slightly to allow it to have a larger brim. It was then covered in fabric. The base is craft foam.

The anchor on the hat was made from super sculpey and painted.

The boots were made from small ankle height boots I already owned; they were covered in fabric and bringing on an addition of craft foam to make the tall brim on the top of the boots.

Styling Notes

The wig was trimmed several inches and had it bangs restyled just a bit before getting put into braids.
