Construction Details:

Bought a very over sized yellow shirt, fitted it, and added the slits on the sides. Bought orange sweatpants. Boots were bought and the soles were painted. Hood made out of a wool-like fabric (forgot what I used), and stuffed. Horns made with a wire base covered in newspaper, was covered in yarn, modge podged, and then painted. Wings made from a 12-gauge wire base (GET A THICKER WIRE PLEASE), covered with organza and glued on cellophane for the patterns. Attached to the shirt with velcro at first, which proved to not stay very well so I sewed them onto the shirt (bad idea).

Personal Thoughts:

The costume itself was easy, but the wings, man do I hate wings. Like they weren't THAT bad, but I could have done much better. And wearing giant wings to a convention? NOT a good idea. They were slammed into so many times that they were destroyed, plus I couldn't sit down the entire time. I will not be remaking the wings, or at least, not for a very long time. This costume is currently retired unless I choose to remake the wings.
