Construction Details:

So this costume isn't TOTALLY complete! I'm missing the fin at the top of the tail and that's it! And seriously guys do NOT take walking for granted lol

Tail and Fin: I got some special spandex from Spandex World that looked almost IDENTICAL to the material used on the park tails! And for the fins I used a medium green chiffon! I'm hoping in the future to revamp it and make it more park style!

Seashell bra: I did two versions of this: One i got plastic shells from the dollar tree, painted them purple, and glued them to a purple bra. Second: I got those shells that look real, also from the dollar tree, painted them purple, and attached them to a nude bra. I then bedazzled the crap out of them! This is my favorite out of the two bras cause it looks so beautiful! BUT sadly I'm so flat chested I don't have the boobage to hold it up.

Personal Thoughts:

Okay ever since I was little I have LOVED Ariel!!!! I always used to go around the house vocalizing like her and pretending I was a mermaid! My parents even copied the movie onto a VHS for me cause Disney took it back into the vault by the time I could enjoy it! But Ariel has ALWAYS been one of my favorites!
