Construction Details:

I started working on this costume in late 2012 and I finished it in early 2013. The costume was mostly bought clothing that had been heavily altered by me. I had to take in the blouse and I cut back the sleeves. The pants were full length and I used material from the bottom of the pants to make the cargo pockets. The harness, holster and pouch were all made out of leather and were made by my awesome friend The Letter Jay. The scarf was from my Edonia Sherry costume and was made by Ammie.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume was kind of finicky so I was anxious about wearing it. I have quite a few little snaps hidden in various places in order to keep parts of the costume in place. Sherry's China outfit is a little bland, but I love the shoulder harness. It's an empowering outfit! The forest photos were taken by my friend Pan.
