About this Costume
Construction Details:
Skirt was made with faux fur that I RIT dyed and then did hand sharpie dyeing. Leather flaps are made from lambskin hide and had cone studs added before stitching them to the skirt. Skirt is also lined with tan suede. Skulls were all resin-casted and painted. They are attached via some snaps. Pouch was made with suede and is functional - can hold cards, cash, and possibly a phone depending on size.

Cape has two parts: The underpart was RIT dyed as well as sharpie dyed and then was lined with lambskin hide. The hood of the cape was doubled faux fur and stitched to the underpiece.

Shirt is made from two different sweater knits. Both were originally orange and dyed darker as well as some sharpie darkening.

Arm warmers were made from suede, stuffed with batting, and then had faux fur added to the ends. The leather cording is just wrapped around the piece with minimal stitches to hold in place. Arm leather cording was just made to be tied around.

Knee pads were made with the spare lambskin hide and interfaced to make stiff. Boot covers were leftover faux fur. Headband was made with a strip of hide and some cording braided and stitched to it.

Pauldrons were made with foam pieces sandwiched in worbla with googly eyes as the rivets. They have D rings and elastic bands to hold in place. The band actually goes through the undercape in order to keep it in place over the pieces.
