Construction Details:

Super-duper simple! Someone at Costume-Con gave away fabric, and just happened to have purple jersey and the orange shawl fabric. I had the yellow cotton and red earrings already, I just had to paint the bracelets red. I whipped up the whole thing in about 3 hours, and half of that was putting the updo in the wig and trimming the bangs.

Personal Thoughts:

I had to bust out at least one costume while pregnant! It's not super accurate, my main goal was to make it comfy for the Otakon heat.

Update- 2015! I totally remade the dress from a dark purple sateen since it didn't fit anymore. I also busted out a quick set of bootcovers. Oh, and now there's Gohan ;)

Styling Notes

This is a straight wig gathered into a ponytail. The bun was purchased separately, and I pinned on a little yellow strip. It hides all the bobby pins quite nicely! I also trimmed the bangs and side pieces.
