Construction Details:

The Breakdown:

The Jewelry: The earrings are just strung together pieces and the forehead gem was my first semi-successful attempt at resin-casting (it set properly, but couldn't get the color right, so unfortunately I had to just paint over it).

The bodysuit: The bodysuit ended up being two layers of spandex sewn together, using a pattern I drafted myself. I then stitched black thread elastic into all of the seams to get the look I wanted (Chalchihuitlicue helped me with this, to save my dying hands! ;w; ) The cuffs are ponteroma and the flower is attached with a snap.

The tutu: The base of the tutu is a netting bubble skirt with a tulle under layer. Chalchihuitlicue and I then hot glued boatloads of feathers onto it!

The shoes: The shoes were painted using spraypaint and the shape was modified using craft foam.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume is an absolute dream! Sailor Moon R is my favorite season of Sailor Moon and Catsy is easily my favorite SM villain!
