The Organization XIII was a daunting task, to say the least. I was really nitpicky about the seam placement, which meant I had to draft the pattern several times to get them the way I wanted. I used the Matrix coat pattern, as many have before me, but I realized very quickly that my shoulders aren't man-sized. I then improvised a hood, which was tricky because I wanted it to be big enough to hang over my eyes but still fall backwards correctly. I bought the zipper online from http://gear.orgxiii.org/ . However, I hated how big the rings on the zipper pulls were, so I trimmed them down using tin snips and metal files. For the chain details I used a bead multi pack from a craft store and just played with different combinations, chose the ones I liked the best, and hot-glued them all together. The gloves and shoes I had already, and although I love how big the shoes look, since all KH characters seem to have enormous feet, they were a good 5-6 sizes too big for me, which made walking a little difficult.
The keyblade was a bit last-minute, since I finished the coat ahead of schedule and had some time. it's made of stuff I found about my house; a clothes hanging stick from a closet, styrofoam, old craft foam poster boards, and toilet paper rolls, ll covered in paper mache and spray painted. I made the Mickey charm using shrinky-dink plastic, which I also spray painted. - Personal Thoughts:
- I love Xion, but I'll be the first to admit I'm probably not the best person to cosplay her; she's way too cool and aloof for me -.- Oh well, I had fun regardless!

- Styling Notes
- I cut the wig as best I could, but it was my first time, so it looks kinda ratchet.
