Construction Details:

I made the whole costume from scratch! The shirt is made from white jersey knit following a turtle neck pattern and the dress was made using a t-shirt style dress pattern I had, altering the neckline and shoulder straps.

The wig was the biggest undertaking. The pigtails were made using craft foam, felt, and loose wefts that I hot glued/hairsprayed into shape before inserting wire into for support. The base wig is a short style and the wire goes through the sides and over my head like a headband. The bow is clipped into the wefting of the wig - it is very heavy and I kept hitting things when I turned!
