Construction Details:

First try. I'm going to be remaking everything for a second shot at this. Chu Chu was commissioned from user ACP Artikgato, and she did a marvelous job.

Second try: I used pink twill for the dress and the bolero. The jumper has an empire waist that's gathered into a semi-full circle skirt. I'm quite short, so I had to fit the waist where I'd appear a little bit longer. I patterned gathered sleeves for the bolero that collapse into 3/4 sleeve length.

The wig is a generic taobao brand. Not much was done with it aside from brushing the curls out and trimming the bangs.

Personal Thoughts:

I would love to do Anthy's more recognizable outfits in the future, but for a start it was the dress she puts on to start her new life, and most likely the first outfit she'd chosen for herself as a person.

I have a lot of feelings (and fashion feelings!) on Utena and there's simply no space for all of my love.
