WHAT IS THIS COSTUME EVEN DOING. But really, there's even a costume breakdown in the artbook and the only useful takeaway is that Shrobs doesn't wear anything underneath the kimono.

Designing this thing was an exercise in copying a silhouette and otherwise filling in the rest. The biggest issue is keeping the mantle straight; while this looks like a pretty easy costume to walk around in, I actually need a handler to keep an eye on all of the pieces' placements OTL;;;

There were several make-it-work points. The "gems" were cut from a Costco apple package, the giant tassels were made from smaller tassels and fringe trim, there's SO MUCH HEM TAPE...

Personal Thoughts:

Why did I think this would be easy? Why did I think painting myself stark white would be easy? Didn't I Homestuck? Didn't I learn?
