Construction Details:

The top is made from a white strech bottomweight since I couldn't find a white stretch denim at either of my local fabric stores. I didn't use a pattern and kind of winged it with a cotton mock-up. I fully lined it and hemmed all by hand. I made the green frills out of a quilting cotton, same with the gold piping and trims.

I made my own buttons with a kit and using the matching gold cotton. The scarf is just a simple rectangle out of a quilting cotton that is tied in a double windsor knot.

Fabric painted the orange and font details.

The skirt is a black and white stripe quilting cotton, that I RIT dyed with Navy to mute the white stripes to those in the art. I did a rolled hem for the bottom, and hand hemmed the skirt band.

The visor is made from a yellow baseball cap that I cut apart, attached the green lycra to the top and bottom of the bill, attached the white that I stenciled in the character's name with fabric paint.

I bought two pairs of welovecolors knee-high socks in Kelly Green, which one pair helped make the gloves which I used a yellow lycra since I couldn't find a matching kelly green in lycra anywhere.

Shoes are a simple pair of black flats I picked up from 5Below
