Construction Details:

We were very picky with the choice of gold fabric for these, as spandex was too flimsy and that super shiny metallic gold didn't seem quite right. Barri was lucky to find this stretchy denim textured material in the NY fashion district and it's just perfect in look and feel. The rest of the costume uses black stretch matte pleather and white crepe back satin (will use a dull satin when I remake the skirt).

Personal Thoughts:

961 FOR LYFE!!! This costume (and group) was on my dream to-do list. I loved Takane the first time I saw her and these outfits are so rockstar looking. We dreamed of doing a kick-ass night time shoot in these and IT HAPPENED and I couldn't be more pleased. I'm probably going to revisit most parts of the costume as it was extremely rushed with my busy AX schedule.
