Construction Details:

Pinned together a toga out of tons of yards of white knit fabric. Got some lavender trim and dyed it hot pink with fabric dye since I didn't have time to handpaint the swirling designs. Got a cheap plastic dish from Michael's and painted the underside gold for her shield. There's sticky Velcro on the back that failed to adhere to the actual tunic so I had to safety pin the shield on. Wire ribbons wouldn't stand up like a hard so I had it around me like some weird shawl. Got a white flower hair ornament and glued some leaves in the back. I owned a random necklace. Tied up my Morgiana wig into two pigtails. Couldn't grab white wings in time. It's not a very nice looking cosplay but I got recognized by other PAD fans so whatever. DON'T CARE, GET THERE.

Personal Thoughts:

Venus looks like an alternate version of Morgiana so I decided to cosplay her as a last minute addition to my AX cosplay plans list. It was super last minute upon GungHo's announcement that they were going to be at AX with a Puzzle and Dragons booth. After much fangirling with other friends who played the game, we all poured our efforts into getting something relevant for the cosplay gathering(s). Also because GungHo was giving free swag to cosplayers HEY I WANT THAT KEYCHAIN.
