Construction Details:

I worked on this outfit for months, just focusing on it piece by piece. The ruffle at the bottom of the skirt was 60 feet that needed to be sewn together, painted, and then gathered to 40 feet to attach to the skirt. I hand painted the umbrella and hair pieces and also the ruffles of the shirt and bustle. The hat I bought but had to recover it before I could attach the ribbon. For this costume I ended up using almost 40 plus yards of fabric. I love this cosplay and I love how it turned out!!!! X3

Personal Thoughts:

I absolutely love this outfit!! I feel a connection to this character and this was a great outfit to start with!!!

Styling Notes

The bangs and side pieces were cut to length on me. The back was a mystery from the reference photo so I created a braided bun with a portion of hair draping down the back.

Wig Review

This wig is heavy to wear but I love the wig. It has the most gorgeous shine and is perfect for the character. I do have to comb the longer pieces often but it is worth it!! :)
