About this Costume
- Construction Details:

Gown: Nothing screams red carpet like sequins! I found a great fabric that had small sequins to work with. The gown is sewn to have a small train. The gown gems were made by combining gorgeous shield like metal jewelry pieces I found. They were directly sewn to the dress. I also found chain that had a cut to them that would make them sparkle despite not having any gems. Everything came together super shiny.
Cape: Not much to say here. The cape is simple chiffon that's double layered then rolled hem serged to finish the edges. They're sewn to the dress straps.
Accessories: Thor's hammer I got at Toys r' us, the bracelet was a lucky find at a jewelry store but the hair piece was a little tricky. I had some sheet metal that I cut then embossed to create 3 leaf shapes that could be glued together. This was all then glued to a hair clip.
The earrings I found are official Marvel/1924 jewelry collaboration jewelry! They're Mjolnir with a lightening bolt. So cute! - Personal Thoughts:
- Absolutely love the Avengers particularly Thor and Loki. When Aria showed me evening gown designs I fell in love with the Thor evening gown design (particularly cause of the cape). Being an evening gown, I thought red carpet fancy so I tried to make it as upscale in cut and look as possible!
