About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
Head was created on a DreamVisionCreations fox resin blank with a fox jawset and tongue. Resin eyes were purchased from them as well, but painted by me. All patterning and sewing was done freehand by me.
This was my first attempt to do a mascot style costume.
Most of the seams in the fur are hand sewn as they cannot have additional seam allowance needed when sewing by machine.
Arrows were made from pine dowels, red turkey feathers, and EVA foam for the tips, so they are completely convention friendly.
Feet were built on to a pair of shoes and the claws were hand sculpted.
The hand claws were made from Banjo pics, so there is additional grip as they are wrapped around each finger inside the fur. - Personal Thoughts:
- The Twisted Princess version was created by DA artist jeftoon01. I love how he was able to transform Maid Marian from my favorite Disney cartoon Robin Hood into a stronger, more awesome character.
