About this Costume
Construction Details:
Once again I got pattern help from the master of corsetry, Kitty Krell/Crimson Rose Couture. Only issue I ran into was, we made this patterns to fit me back in November and I lost a bit of weight and it didn't quite fit as snug as I'd have liked.
I covered the pattern in spandex so the fabric could take the shape of the bra cups a little better.
The skirt was what I used for my other SG costume (even though it was two shades darker) it worked and I didn't have fabric or time to make a new one. Belt is vinyl and more spandex for the emblem.
Boots were thigh high boots that I cut the V into and then painted red.
Gloves were hand sewn and I hate them. So did two sewing machines. Ugh.
Wig was a 25$ lace front from eBay.
Personal Thoughts:
I adore pin up art and when I saw Ant Lucia's take on the DC girls as bombshells, I lost my mind. I did my best to make this one using materials already in my possession and spend as little as possible. It turned out pretty good despite the restrictions I put on it!
I also got to meet TK Miller, the guy who turned the art into sculptures. Such a cool dude!!
