Construction Details:

This costume was pretty straightforward. I was excited to pay under $10 for all the materials & shoes. The skirt was upcycled cotton sheet from the thrift store, and the shirt/collar material is from my stash. I tinted the pink and red with a little purple, since in most of the art references the colours seem to have a cool tone to them. I try to push myself to learn at least one small skill with each project, so for this one I handmade the bias tape running along the bottom of the blouse!

Personal Thoughts:

I really love this series, and I identify most with Hanekawa, the "good girl". I was always really studious and a little shy in high school. This is the first school uniform I've made - I really enjoyed it!
