Construction Details:

Instead of lining, I did French seams all over the coat, and appliqued the blue vinyl piece over it. The silver buttons are attached through the vinyl with wire and glue so they lay flat and will likely never come off. The breastplate is plaster over a wire mesh and frame, with details in clay. Sword is wood, davey board, and craft foam, with a vinyl, foam, and leather sheath.

Personal Thoughts:

This is the costume Kirito wears during my favourite episodes, and it's really comfy - a joy to wear!
