First off, amazing scissorblade made by CeruleanDraco!! You can find him on facebook!
The top and skirt were made out of a dark blue cotton sateen. Red lines are just bias tape. The collar is doing some weird thing for some reason in the back, I think I messed something up but i'm not sure what??
Senketsu's eye is made up of cotton sateen for the red and black and then just various broadcloth I had from old cosplays made up the rest of the colors. I drew the shapes out and used heat n bond to make his eye, and it's just sewn right into the sailor fuku collar. I thought a lot about how to approach the eye and finally after looking at various art and people's cosplays, I really liked the idea of outlining each color in black to make it more cartoon-y and stand out more.
The eyepatch is made out of matte vinyl and some pleather that I painted silver and glued onto the patch. It snaps onto the shirt underneath the fuku.
The suspenders are also made out of matte vinyl and some pleather for the back triangle thing that suspenders have, and the silver bars are made out of foam sheet lol
The glove is like my favorite part of the entire costume cause fingerless gloves make me feel badass for some reason?? Also I love the knuckles ahhh
The glove is made out of red stretch vinyl, matte black vinyl, foam and silver spray paint. The black details are sharpie'd on but I want to make it kind of stand out like veins next time I make it.
Shoes are from taobao! - Personal Thoughts:
- DON'T LOSE YOUR WAYY
