Construction Details:

4 days of tears and sudden weight gain. lots of "this is the best we can do for this piece in the allotted time" Homura was entirely patterned and made by me, with the exception of the undershirt, which was a plain black turtleneck I had laying around that I attached cuffs and a collar to. Outer top was made of casa satin with the backside out. All the grey/purple fabric was cotton. Leggings were made out of some mysterious spandex that had a thin coating. I painted the diamonds on with plain fabric paint (which was a horrible idea). My feet ached for DAYS after the con because the shoes were so uncomfortable. There was no friction and the toe area was shaped oddly.

Personal Thoughts:

My Madoka and I were like "the con is in 4 days and we have a collective sum of $60 let's make two entire costumes heck yeah." I've never been in so much pain while wearing something in my entire life.
