Construction Details:

i'm made this entirely from scrap fabric i had in my stash. the top is made by covering a strapless bra. i actually sewed the seams in but they weren't clearly visible when taking pics so i painted them on too. i just patterned out the skirt really quickly and sewed it together and put elastic in the waist band to hold up the front flap because it's a little heavy. the top and the skirt are double layered. i made a pair of bikini bottoms to wear under the skirt in case i wanted to go in the pool in this costume. all the gold jewelry is made from worbla, coated in wood glue, painted gold and given a clear top coat. i bought the necklace crystal online and added the gold to it for accuracy.

my first disney princess costume! i love kida so much she's such a bad ass!

Styling Notes

i used a jareth and another wig i had laying around and a long bang clip to make this wig. sewed them all together and did a lot of layering.
