About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
The armor was made with Worbla and Worbla's Deco Art (also Friendly Plastic when I ran out of DA). The wing skirt was made with plastic tubing for the bones and vinyl for the "skin". The belt, torso back, and belt front flap were made of the same vinyl. The shoes were bought at a thrift store and the armor was attached directly to the shoe (except the upper part). The tattoo (unfinished in the photos) was drawn on with cream based face paint (I didn't have anything to set it with!).
- Personal Thoughts:
- Holy crap. This costume was about a solid month of work. Many days were just spent priming all the armor pieces. This was my first time making armor out of Worbla and Deco Art, so I learned a lot! Also my first time making wings (the skirt is basically wings lol), so that was fun and scary. I'm glad I stepped out of my comfort zone for this.
Wig Details
- Wig Review
- A lot thinner than I would have liked, and tangled like MAD.
