About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
Dress: Light blue poly-cotton with bias tape trim at the neck and sleeves, and lots of gathered lace at the hem. I wore my three Madoka petticoats under it to get max poof ;)
Apron: Cotton sateen with more gathered lace trim. It has cute heart pockets and a giant sash bow that snaps to the back. This was the most fun to make, because it's almost entirely heart shapes! It was like making a giant wearable valentine!! XD
Bloomers: Cotton sateen trimmed with 3 rows of lace.
Accessories: The hair ribbon is silk, mounted on a headband. The choker is the same silk with a resin gem that I cast.
Socks/Shoes: The socks are plain black knee-highs I already had. The shoes are the same as the ones I used for my Nadja cosplay. I made separate straps from elastic and attached big resin hearts to mimic mary-janes. - Personal Thoughts:
- I really love this costume, especially the apron! It was so much fun to make!
Wig Details
- Styling Notes
- I trimmed the bangs and sides and curled the sides a tiny bit for the longer pieces she has.
- Wig Review
- I LOVE the color of this wig, if I ever dyed my real hair, I'd choose a color like this! ^^
