Construction Details:

A WORK IN PROGRESS!! Still have the choker to make and the boots are currently on order. Some little bits and pieces here and there that are still being finished up but otherwise, it is nearly complete!

Fabric: Swimsuit Spandex; dull side of fabric
Bow Fabric: Broadcloth
Wig: None; clip on extension

Currently my wig is still on its way. It did not arrive on time for photos so I cut and dyed my hair a deeper brown to give at least an idea of what I'd look like as Jupiter. Turned out surprisingly well! I may just leave my hair but if the wig is desired more, I will probably go with it instead.

Personal Thoughts:

Sailor Jupiter is a character that I see myself as at times while watching the series. Growing up, I was a bit of a tomboy. I did martial arts (still practicing), wore casual clothes like jeans and a regular t-shirt, and was always made fun of for my height as I was the tallest girl in my class in elementary. There were times I never really thought of myself as pretty because of how too boyish I was. I love frills and pretty things too which some considered odd at the time. So to first cosplay as Sailor Jupiter from the series has some special meaning to me.
