Construction Details:

The hat and the actual costume took about a week each.

The hat is made all of 2 layers craft foam and paper mache. Then the skull on top is made of model magic with string made into a tassle and attached to the top of the skull.

The dress is made of a sport knit kind of fabric made to maybe make the costume a bit more closer to what a marching band leader may wear to perform? Then I added some nice suiting fabric with very light stripes in there to make it seem a little more royal and close satin stiched black satin fabric stars to create the 3 stars.

Personal Thoughts:

I am actually really proud of how these costume sleeves turned out. They are the greatest and most poofiest thing ever and it makes me so happy. Although the skirt is a bit short? That was an unintentional accident and I'm really upset I haven't been able to make her conductor's stick...
