Construction Details:

The jacket was a commercial pattern that I altered pretty heavily to create: the cut away shape on the front, the collar and lapels, and the side panels. It's all made from stretch sateen and the pink fabric is dyed with Rit liquid dye in fuchsia.rnThe skirt is kind of a mess but it is basically a tiered skirt gathered onto strips on a base fabric. It is made of casa satin and the dark pink has sparkles.rnThe boots were my first foray into boot covers. They are covered with 4 way stretch vinyl over a pair of ugly payless shoes.

Personal Thoughts:

As far as I can tell, I'm the only cosplayer who has ever made this outfit.

Styling Notes

The Greta is the only shoulder length wig arda sells in mahogany and I really preferred the reddish brown to a straight brown since her hair always came off slightly red in the anime to me. So I opted to just straighten the curls out of the wig. I just sectioned it off and straightened out the curls with a flat iron. Thank you based heat resistant wigs.
