About this Costume
Construction Details:
Coat:
I used a Vogue pattern for the coat. It is double breasted. It is made of white twill and fully lined. The sleeves have faux fur trim on them.

Vest:
The vest I also made out of twill. It’s double breasted as well and lined.

Pants:
The pants are made of that same white twill.

Shirt:
I used one of my white business tops that I had already.

Tie:
The tie I custom made out of satin. It allows the tie to pop a little in photos with the contrast from matte to shine.

Hat:
The hat was a pattern drafted by me. It is made entirely out of faux fur.

Gloves:
I just used my Alucard Gloves.

Scarf:
I bought a white knit scarf.

Boots:
I bought a pair of nice white winter boots with black soles.

Tommy Gun:
I bought a toy Tommy Gun from a local Halloween shop.

Hair:
I actually used my real hair for this one. I dyed it black (which I am never doing again!)
In the future I will be using a wig. I have plenty long black wigs with straight bangs across.
Personal Thoughts:
I really love the series Hellsing so naturally I wanted to make some costumes from it. I made this costume back in 2007. I had a friend that would cosplay kid Walter so he was suppose to be my Walter. The year I wore this to AN he couldn't make it…so I still need to get shots with a Walter at some point.
I really loved the flashback sequences of Hellsing the Dawn and I loved Alucard's 1940’s look. I have a huge mess of Hellsing costumes, but quite a bit of effort went into this one due to the amount of clothing the character wears.
