Construction Details:

I went with a Civil War uniform pattern for the coat and modified that to what I needed. I cheated a bit with the pants and just made them like pajamas and had an elastic waistband. The had I made with a stiff interfacing like material and covered it with matching fabric to the coat. My boyfriend had an old pair of welder\\\'s goggles from his dad that I attached to the hat. I made the military pin first out of ribbon and then decided to use my embroidery machine to make something a bit better. The buttons I found already styled \\\"antique,\\\" and I painted them the color I needed. I didn\\\'t do much to the wig except trim up the bangs a bit.
