Construction Details:

I used the McCalls Green Pepper skating pattern, and the only alterations made to it was dropping the dip 4 inches, and raising the back neck line.

The materials used were lycra and stretch poplin, bought off Amazon with heavy duty interfacing.

Anything green and pink is hand dyed with Rit Dye from Joanns, the green base was a primary green, darkened with Dark Green, for 1 hour and 30 minutes, and the pink was a white base dyed with the Rose Pink for 30 seconds.

The Brooch was purchased from ShoujoGems on etsy.

The Tiara and Earrings was purchased from CatziasCollectables on etsy.

My shoes were black military-style ankle boots purchased on ebay, and painted with Angelus Leather paint in Green.

The hair accessories were green hair knockers painted with Americana acrylic paint in Desert Turquoise.

The wig is the Eowyn in Mahogany from Arda Wigs, stubbed and lengthened with a long ponytail clip, and then sideburn strands were long weft extensions, all from Arda.

The gloves were bought at WeLoveColors.

Total, this costume costed apprx. $345.00 to construct.

I am currently improving the wig, fixing the height of the ponytail which will be ready by Anime Expo.

Personal Thoughts:

I'm really proud of how this cosplay came out! The bangs of the wig were really fun to style. Thanks to DJ Tanner of Full House for the inspiration!

With the shoes I stand at 177.8cm tall.
