Construction Details:

The costume itself was pretty easy! I made up patterns for the top and pants myself, and used a light blue satin with a teal organza-like fabric overlayed on top of that in order to get a color that I liked. I also patterned the shoe covers with just slip over a pair of basic flats so that I can take the shoes out if I need to. The earrings are model magic with air clay over them so I could sand and paint them. Even though they are light they are still pretty heavy as earrings so they have clear straps on them which loop up and around my ears for extra support. The necklace is craft foam covered in worbla, sealed with wood glue, and then painted. The hair gem is casted out of resin with a sculpy/air clay base.

Yayyy! I've always wanted to be Jasmine ever since I was little, and I'm so happy I could cosplay her with my boyfriend as Aladdin!!
