Construction Details:

The cape, shirt, and sash were all patterned by me and made using some sort of cotton that I picked up in the NYC fabric district. The pants are made from a brown double knit with buttons up each side. The shoes, hat, and sword were purchased separately.

Personal Thoughts:

This was a pretty easy costume to throw together, but the transformative aspect via makeup for this costume was a huge learning experience. It was a joy getting to initially cosplay Shanks with my friend, skwinky, who introduced me to the One Piece series, so we had a lot of feels with our shoot, to say the least. I love love loooooove Shanks a lot as a character, so being able to pull off this costume was wonderful~

Styling Notes

The wig was straightened using a hot water method, then cut and styled accordingly.
