Construction Details:

The headpiece was made out of foam sheets, I had put some wire in at some spots but then I realized I was going on a plane with them and I just didn't want to risk something bad happening at security, so I took them out. They attach with bobby pins from little loops I made on the inside.

The roman numeral 'shawl' was made using satin and the gold is using heat n bond, but the sketching of the numbers and stuff took forever cause I wanted to make sure each number had the right size so there was a lot of math involved. The beads are attached to the shawl, and were just made using sculpey and gold spray paint.

The cape was so annoying, it's made out of cotton sateen for the green (which I think was a great find, I LOVE the color!!) then satin for the white, gold and brown, like the shawl. The cape is just a half circle, but I had to cut out a lot of shapes from the original half circle to get the other pieces. I did the detailed brown piece in the back of the cape using heat n bond like the shawl. The collar of the cape is a piece of foam that I heat n bonded fabric to on both sides then just added snaps to attach to the cape.

Shoulder armor (which I made the entirety of, even though literally a bit of it peaks out) is just all foam sheet armor, but I threw it out after the con because it was in rough shape, so I want to make it again and make it more durable. It closes in the front with hook n eyes, but that was really annoying to deal with.

The front hanging piece is the same heat n bond method.

The dress, that you can't see lol is some kind of satin, but it's extremely soft and beautiful I love it so much!!

Boots which you also can't see as much are just from a stretch knit I found.

Armwarmers are stupidly, made out of the white satin from the cape, and stupidly because I couldn't put my hand through them so I had to extend the gold details and add hook n eye closures.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume was so annoying ajgdhfj but I really hope I can get photos for her soon!
