About this Costume
Construction Details:
I modified the Officially Licensed Leg Avenue costume. The dress was downsized and the bows were replaced with ones I made from scratch. They're detachable from the dress! I also made the shoe covers and the choker. The red cuffs from the original gloves were removed, and were sewn on higher quality white gloves. Accessories such as the brooch, tiara, odango shields, earrings and crescent moon charms were made by Dukesa's Box. Moon Stick is the 1992 BanDai version. I repainted the pink parts since it was turning orange due to age.

05/14 EDIT: Upgraded the shoe covers and foam tiara to Catzia's Deluxe Sailor Moon boots and brass tiara

Personal Thoughts:
Sailor Moon is my childhood heroine, and cosplaying her is a dream come true for me! I used my 19 year old Moon Stick with the cosplay - the same one that I used to imitate Sailor Moon with when I was 6 years old! That is very special to me. I got to work with my friend Kiko Francisco on this cosplay. He had the accessories made for me, as well as directed the photoshoot and took the amazing pictures ♡ And I finally got my husband, Strifehart to cosplay Tuxedo Mask as well!

Styling Notes
I never use a wig straight out of the packaging. I straightened the ponytails using the hot water method, and tried to make the odangos even.
