Construction Details:

This actually took longer than I expected, mostly because I'd end up working on the costume right when I'd be entering the finals half of the school semester.

The vest is actually a modified jacket that I got at goodwill and the skirt I'd made myself. This was the first time I'd touched a sewing machine so even though they were pretty basic, I was more than a little intimidated and worried that I'd mess up.

I also tried making the hat but after burning through several yards of felt trying to at least make a prototype and failing (I looked like a rejected Christmas elf, really), I gave up and commissioned a hat from Caffeinated Crafting. He's selling them on his etsy store, if you're looking for one.

The scarf was probably the easiest and the most fun part to sew. It's over five feet long and it was fun to zone out and just keep stitching, but that could have been because it was 2AM and I hadn't slept consistently within the past two weeks.
