Construction Details:

The coat was fully constructed from scratch using a black twill and black posh lining. The pattern drafted by piecing together some existing self-patterns, parts from Simplicty's 5386, and some additional drafting for the collar. The shirt was purchased and the cross added using black bias. Everything else was purchased/I already owned.

Personal Thoughts:

I have never enjoyed nor felt more fulfilled by cosplaying a character as I have with Subaru. Sorry, not sorry for the spam of godawful 90s outfits that are probably incoming.

Styling Notes

Purchased two of these from Taobao so Vikki and I would have matching wigs for Subaru and Hokuto! The original style was very close to theirs, so all it required was a little trimming on the sideburns and layering in the back to fit our heads.
