Construction Details:

to make sure it was all the same color I made the dress, gloves and shoe covers out of the same miliskin spandex. The cape had to be made out of silk due to the weight, it is slightly a different shade of blue but isn't noticeable in pictures. The dress was complicated, because I was trying to make it like the comic book, no darts to fit it. The hardest part was the hood and I wasn't able to fix its issues in time for Wondercon sadly. I need to add wire to help keep it's shape and I need to add either a magnet or a comb to help keep the hood on my head, since the hood and cape are all one piece like in the comic.

Personal Thoughts:

Raven has been my favorite superhero for years and her original comicbook outfit has been a dream cosplay of mine since I first started cosplaying. Now with amazing wig sites like Arda I've been finally able to complete my dream cosplay!
