Construction Details:

The main fabrics are three different colors of dupioni. I used a knit and rose petal poly for the shorts. The gems on the skirt, sleeves, etc are rhinestones that were sewn together into bands. All the cabochons are fabric backed to match the color of my fabrics. The bustle underneath is layers of mesh, crinoline, and netting to get the right effect and has a thigh pillow on each side. The shoes are Christian Soriano shoes that have been cut, painted, and decorated.

Personal Thoughts:

I'm not going to lie: this needs some work and tweaking still. But with the time I had and resources, I'm really proud and I can't wait to continue working <3
