Construction Details:

The skirt and shirt were made from a navy cotton sateen in the normal seifuku fashion, and the tie is made from a red sateen. Senketsu's eye is the same sateen with a couple colors of kona cotton. Sewing corners is awkward, but I made it presentable. The eyepatch was made from some leftover matte stretch vinyl from Black Widow, and I used the same stuff for the suspenders, belt, and weird side spade things. The glove sucks because it was my second time making one (and my first in four years) but it's from either red wet look spandex or stretch vinyl--I don't remember. The silver details were cut from that silver vinyl belting Joann sells. The band is the same red spandex/vinyl sewn in a tube and stuffed with the same cotton batting my Sailor Senshi group used for our waist rolls, with a strip of the matte black vinyl sewn on. Personal Thoughts:

I LOVE RYUKO SO MUCH it's so rare for me to be drawn to the protag, but she's the actual best, and cosplaying her was so much fun. This is actually the nicest seifuku I've ever made, and I'm quite proud of it--I ain't even mad that my other AX costumes didn't get done.
