Construction Details:

I painted all the black stripes on red cotton, which took far too long. The kimono and under-kimono (forget the name) are made from crepe Casa satin from JoAnn. For some reason, I'm missing a substantial part of the kimono pattern I bought years ago but never used, so I based the kimono on my yukata, which may or may not have been correct since one is for a female and one isn't.
