About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
The blazer is a suiting fabric with the darker panels custom painted using acrylic paint/textile medium. The pattern was drafted by splicing together a vest pattern and a blouse pattern.
My butt skirt is the same fabric as the blazer. The emblem was stenciled using contact paper and hand painted with acrylic paint. The white piece of the skirt is a satiny fabric (it was a remnant, so I'm not sure what it is...) satin stitched around the edges and was gradient painted using acrylic paint/water in a spray bottle. The skirts, emblem panel, and pouches were all hand-stitched to the belt. The emblem on the tanktop was also painted using a contact paper stencil.
I made my stockings and scarf from a paerformance wear knit, and the leg tie from a scrap of sateen. The leg piece is hand dyed.
My Ember Celica are made from EVA foam gym matts, poster board, PVC (for the shells), and a buttload of wood glue to seal the EVA. I used HeroTetsuro's patterns. Everything is painted with acrylic paint and clear coated. - Personal Thoughts:

- Styling Notes
- This wig is actually two wigs. I de-wefted one wig and sewed the wefts into the second. The hair fwippy was backcombed to give it support and glued at the tip to keep its shape.
