Construction Details:

Since I've made Ivan's standard outfit from the series, this was basically a duplicate of that jacket in a different color. So it was pretty easy to whip this up. The fabric was a different kind than I used last time, but I think I almost like this jacket more. The most annoying part was sewing all the stripes for the collar, cuffs, and bottom hem. Also my machine was giving me a really hard time while doing the satin-stitching the front emblems, so that was frustrating. Now that I've seen the movie and have references, I can embroider the scene on the back of the jacket! The pants I bought and hemmed. I probably should follow through with making the pockets more accurate too, though.

Personal Thoughts:

I was super excited to see the NY premiere of the new The Rising movie!! My friend casually suggested cosplaying to the event, and once I got that idea in my head, I had to do it.rnrnIt was really fun to get to see the movie with everyone! IT WAS AMAZING, I'M SO HAPPY.
