Construction Details:

Both the sword and shield are made out of pink insulation foam. I layered gesso on the sword and glued a layer of fabric for the base of the shield front. The red and the dark gray are spray painted and the black and gold designs are painted pieces of craft foam. The scarf was done with fabric paint.

Personal Thoughts:

Aegislash's shiny version is my favourite out of the gen vi Pokemon. This cosplay was more of a prop test/practice as the clothes were all found items, with the exception of the scarf. Most of my cosplays do not have large props so I wanted to challenge myself with making a custom shaped sword and a round shield.

Wig Review

The colour on this wig is gorgeous. Vibrant, but not shiny.
