Construction Details:
I based my choices for this costume on color - since the game is very colorful, I chose bold colors for the fabrics and paints used throughout. I rather like the end result as a whole. Overall - a simple costume, but here's a quick breakdown.

The green top is stretch moleskin - I patterned it out to match the seams on her top in the reference. The straps are custom made from leather, painted with Angelus paints, and I bought the oversized buckles from Tandy's. Holes were punched into the straps so they could be sewn onto the top.

The scarf is made out of stretch fleece, in a brighter shade of yellow than the shorts.

Armbands are made out of a stretch mesh, which was a pain in the butt to sew.

The silver bands are leather painted with Angelus paints, and they snap on.

The orange gloves were modified vintage opera gloves made of soft leather - the quickest and best solution. I removed the fingers, sewed them down, and painted them in a mixture of white and orange Angelus paints.

Shorts were purchased and dyed.

The belt was made out of leather, painted with Angelus paints. I purchased a double pronged buckle to match hers.

The shoes were modified, my Xelloss shoes ended up working perfectly as a base. I just had to paint them and add the cuff, which velcros on

The wig was purchased, and unfortunately was pictured as dark brown but is much closer to a true black. :( I guess it's okay though since her hair has been depicted either way. It was styled with hair scissors and a razor. The headband is a mixture of leather and fabric.
Personal Thoughts:
Cosplay staff for Colossalcon chooses a different series every year to cosplay as, and for 2014 it was Kingdom Hearts. I figured Yuffie was a good choice for me, and since the con is in the summer, it works out even better! This costume also showcases my farmer's tan quite well! Thanks but no thanks, Florida. :P
