Construction Details:

The main part of this was the wig but that goes elsewhere. I altered a regular t-shirt pattern for my seifuku. I used twill for the skirt and collar and sateen for the base of the shirt. I added bias binding for all of the trims. I found some kind of anime neck-scarf tutorial and used that. I cut up a sock for the armsock, I cut up socks for the socks and finally, I relaced some pumps for the shoes and found a fitting belt online.

Personal Thoughts:

I have just really wanted to cosplay Ibuki! She reminds me so much of my own scene phase, plus the wig seemed like a good challenge and I had never made a sailor uniform before. A sailor uniform seemed like an essential at first but I suppose it did take a year to eventually make one. This has been the most accessory heavy thing ever.
Also, I entered this into my first cosplay competiton, which was only local, but still fun. I didn't win anything but I've decided to up my game soon.
